What are the main coatings used for baking pans?

2026/06/30

1. Fluorocarbon paint (Teflon) type paint

Features: High temperature resistant (can withstand 260℃ in a short time), acid and alkali resistant, wear resistant, and certified by FDA, RoHS, etc., non-toxic and harmless.

Application: Suitable for high-temperature baking equipment such as rice cooker liners, ovens, and baking trays, solving food sticking and cleaning problems.

2. Oil-based non-stick high-temperature resistant coating

Features: Long-term use temperature is about 200℃, short-term resistance is 260℃, glossy or sub-color options are available, and needs to be baked and cured.

Applicable to: industrial demolding, anti-corrosion pipes and other scenarios. Some products are used in baking tray molds, but specific high temperature resistance parameters need to be paid attention to.

3. Water-based non-stick coating

Features: Environmentally friendly and non-toxic, acid-resistant and salt-resistant, LFGB certified, suitable for food-grade equipment.

Application: Rice pots, cast iron pots and other scenarios that require corrosion resistance and non-stick properties, but specific high temperature resistance must be confirmed.

Selection recommendations: Fluorocarbon coatings are preferred due to their superior overall performance and multiple safety certifications; if an economical solution is required, the high temperature resistance parameters and costs of oil-based coatings can be compared.
