They have uniform colors and strong weather resistance, making them suitable for scenes with high requirements for aesthetics and durability, such as building exteriors and home appliance panels

Spray-painted colored boards are constructed on-site. They have a single color and slightly poor flatness, but they can be colored on-site and are suitable for complex shapes. They are often used in industrial plants, temporary buildings, etc.

1. Production process

Pre-coated color plates: using roller coating process, completed in the factory through a continuous coating production line, with uniform coating, no color difference, and small film thickness error (<0.5μm).

Sprayed color board: adopts spraying process, on-site construction, and is coated by electrostatic floating suction. The film thickness error is large (about 7μm), and color difference and uneven thickness are likely to occur.

2. Coating quality

Pre-coated color board: uniform coating, smooth surface, strong self-cleaning ability, pollutants are not easy to penetrate, and can be rinsed clean by rainwater.

Spray-painted colored board: The coating is a particle accumulation with micropores on the surface. Pollutants are easily permeable and difficult to clean thoroughly. Significant pollution may occur after a few years.

3. Applicable scenarios

Pre-painted color panels: Suitable for scenes with high requirements for aesthetics and durability, such as building exterior walls, appliance panels, and decorative panels.

Spray paint panels: suitable for industrial plants, temporary buildings, containers and other scenes where there is a need for styling and on-site color matching.

4. Price

Pre-coated color plates: The price is relatively high, for example, Baosteel pre-coated color plates are about 6,380 yuan/ton, and Super Glorious pre-coated color plates are about 4,600 yuan/ton.

Spray-on colored boards: The price is lower, for example, Su Cai Metal spray-on colored boards are about 40 yuan/piece, and Zheng Shunfa spray-on colored boards are about 5,800 yuan/ton.

5. Environmental protection

Pre-coated color board: uses chromium-free treatment liquid, which is highly environmentally friendly and not easy to turn yellow, meeting environmental protection requirements.

Spray paint: Paint mist and solvent volatilization are easily generated during construction, polluting the environment and being detrimental to health.

6. Processing and shaping

Pre-coated color board: The board surface is pre-roller coated and does not support complex shapes. For example, special-shaped welding will damage the coating.

Spray-painted colored board: can be processed into a polyhedral board and then sprayed, supporting complex shapes such as special-shaped welding.

7. Flatness

Pre-coated color plate: The flat plate is baked at high temperature, the plate surface is highly flat, and can be mechanically twisted.

Spray-painted colored board: After forming, it is baked at high temperature and cannot be twisted flat, resulting in poor flatness of the board surface.

8. Color pattern

Pre-coated color plates: Through high-performance coating processes, colors are uniform and delicate, supporting complex textures.

Spray paint: can only produce a single color and cannot achieve complex textures.

9. Self-cleaning

Pre-coated color board: The surface is smooth, pollutants cannot penetrate, and it can be rinsed clean with rainwater.
